  but you don't want to bow to the authority of His Word

  but you don't want to confess Him as the way, the truth and the life

  but you don't want to contend for the faith

  but you don't want to guard the Gospel

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to love the brethren

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to fellowship with His people

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to function as a member in His Body

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to use the talents and gifts He's entrusted to you

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to make disciples

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to preach His Gospel

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to offend anyone with the message of the cross

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to look foolish in the world's eyes

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to be hated by the world

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to hate your life in this world

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to share in His sufferings

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to take His yoke upon you and learn of Him

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to keep your hand to the plow

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to forsake all you have

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to deny yourself

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to take up His cross

  you say you want Jesus
  but you don't want to die

  but you don't want to bow to Him as Lord
