  • Good Evening, Karen

I loved this post--you listed some Bible verses that I had to memorize in the first church I attended after being born again.

We need to be lights in this ever darkening world.

    Thanks for your encouraging post.

  • Thanks for the reminder that God is still in control.    When you're walking through a maze, you can't see the end from the beginning; but God is the beginning and the end!    Men's hearts are failing them for fear - the survivalists and all begin to think it's all up to them, and they do fear that they are unable to cope.   I don't think fatalism is necessary, but in the end, there is still our sovereign God....and always will be!

  • We are definitely to be light in a dark world.

Christian hedonist in training. Pressing on to know more and more of the joy of the LORD. Pleading with God to rend the heavens and revive and refresh my own soul, as well as His Church, to His praise, honor and glory.

Thank God. He can make men and women in middle life sing again with a joy that has been chastened by a memory of their past failures. ~ Alan Redpath
