  • Right now I'm watching loved ones struggling to hold on to things - to self. It is heartbreaking to watch because I'm there too. But not as much as before. He must increase, increase. After all He is the Lord of all creation, yet He was willing to let that go in order to save us.

A year ago, I was called upon to forget self and to give to someone who really couldn't go as far as I could in that....I am so glad God enabled me. He is still teaching me.

  • @quest4god@revelife - The only One we must continue to hold on to, to cling to, is Christ! He alone fully satisfies the sou's hunger and thirst.

He is still teaching me as well. He leads His flock like a Shepherd – that includes each and every sheep! Not one will be missing!

  • Mm, that I Stand Amazed tune was playing in my head as I was reading the lines before you quoted that song...and there it was! And Lecrae as well. Tis a good post after all. ;)

Grace is what taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved.

Was I reading your mind – or were you reading mine? o.O  Great minds think alike ~ llamas and deer think alike.

As long as there's Lecrae, it's all good, eh?

If only we would take the time to sit and linger at His feet like Mary, to behold His glory... Looking unto JESUS! Behold the Lamb!

Grace is what taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved. - Amen! Amazing grace indeed! Perfect love casts out ALL fear! We HAVE peace with GOD!

Thank God. He can make men and women in middle life sing again with a joy that has been chastened by a memory of their past failures. ~ Alan Redpath
