Blessed Thirst in the Valley of Baca ~ Psalm 84
my Father
hear me
your child
hear me
here
in my
crying
longing
fainting
thirsting
here in the Valley of Baca
here in the valley of the shadow of death
O, living God where are You, are You here?
O, cursed valley of Baca!
you have brought to me these wretched gifts of yours
tears
weakness
loneliness
drynessO, living God, are You here?
begone, flee from me, cursed Valley of Baca
O, gracious God, have Your goodness and mercy forsaken me here?
surely here You hear the sound of my soul panting in need of rain!
O, do not tarry, do not keep me waiting here
for You, the living God
O, come and bless me
my cup is emptying
I thirst!
wretched thirst!
abounding thirst!
ah, here in my thirst, I cry
where is the blessedness I knew?Wretched crying!
Wretched longing!
Wretched fainting!
Wretched thirsting!
Wretched tears!
Wretched weakness!
Wretched loneliness!
Wretched dryness!My child
I have heard you
I am your Father
hear Me
I hear you here
crying
longing
fainting
thirsting
here in the valley of Baca
here in the valley of the shadow of death
O, child of mine, I am the Living God, I am here
I have brought to you these blessed gifts of Mine
tears
weakness
loneliness
drynessO, living God, You are here!
come, leaped to me, in this cursed Valley of Baca
O, very gracious God, surely Your goodness and mercy have taken me here!
surely here in my panting my soul hears the sound of rain!
though it tarry, yet I will wait for it here
for You, the Living God
O, You have come and blessed me
my cup is overflowing
with thirst!
blessed thirst!
abounding grace!
ah, here in my thirst, I cry,
here is the blessedness I knew!Blessed crying!
Blessed longing!
Blessed fainting!
Blessed thirsting!
Blessed tears!
Blessed weakness!
Blessed loneliness!
Blessed dryness!Blessed are they whom I have brought into the Valley of Baca so they might thirst for Me, the Living Water, and cry out to Me, the Living God, in the Valley of Baca.

aman jusus didit all for us
@dmcx2010 - Amen. Yes He did - all so we might drink of Him and be filled w/ His fullness!
Thank you. I can really relate to this right now. Jesus, I am thirsting!
This would surely be my prayer. "here in the valley of Baca, here in the valley of the shadow of death"
@quest4god@revelife - I was a thirsting a little while ago as well. You know He WILL come and WILL fill you, the question is when and how – but He WILL, you are His child. He waits to show mercy only so He might be more highly exalted. He is gracious. VERY gracious at the sound of your cry. As soon as He hears it, He answers. You will weep NO MORE! (Isaiah 30:18-19). Watch and wait for Him, brother - He IS a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him!
Psalm 130
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
@llamalima - Praying for you that Christ might bless you even in the thirst and then pour out Himself to you and fill you with Himself in greater measure. John 7:37-39.
