  • Now this is a group that I could listen to in the car with my grandkids!  It has their kind of sound with my kind of words.  And I always appreciate being able to read the words because for the most part I don't understand the mumbo jumbo of rap.

I had to be humbled to the utmost extreme to reach the point of placing my trust completely in God.  Now I thank Him every day for Who He Is! My Everlasting!

  • @bronze_for_gold - Our oldest son first got me listening to Lecrae several years ago. Like you, I also have a hard time understanding some of the lyrics.

Yes, me too! So painful - but eternally profitable! And now that He's gotten us to that point, we so want everyone else to know Him and praise Him for Who He Is - Everlasting!

  • Indeed. There is only ONE foundation.  Jesus Christ.

  • I love that song...

  • @NewerThanNew - Yes! And I am loving pretty much the entire CD as well. For some reason, I didn't end up getting it until after Christmas. I'd given a copy to my son for Christmas, and then I found a copy for myself at a used CD shop a few days later. :)

About me...

Christian hedonist in training. Pressing on to know more and more of the joy of the LORD. Pleading with God to rend the heavens and revive and refresh my own soul, as well as His Church, to His praise, honor and glory.

Thank God. He can make men and women in middle life sing again with a joy that has been chastened by a memory of their past failures. ~ Alan Redpath
