  • "A Prayer for the Persecuted Church"

While in prison the apostle Paul asked the church at Colossae to pray for him:

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison—that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak...Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Amen.

    -Colossians 4:1-4, 18b, ESV

Would you please "continue steadfastly in prayer" for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are undergoing persecution and remember their chains....?

About me...

Christian hedonist in training. Pressing on to know more and more of the joy of the LORD. Pleading with God to rend the heavens and revive and refresh my own soul, as well as His Church, to His praise, honor and glory.

Thank God. He can make men and women in middle life sing again with a joy that has been chastened by a memory of their past failures. ~ Alan Redpath
